With shock and orr there at the bus stop = four big burly police cops what with van and all - open!
Colin shrieked in defiance! He was bundled into the back of the van to go to the cooler!
At the sergeant's desk all possessions were put in a bag (as they do) - but for one item - the electronic relay.
The sergeant stipulates, 'What's this for?
Colin expands, 'It's an electronic relay for the ultrasonic detector I'm building.' The sergeant looks on bemused and
waits for Colin to continue, '......... see that ceiling lamp in that room?'
........ He points to the lamp in the next room nearby ... 'The lamp goes on itself; stays on for a predermined time
and then it automatmically switches off as the voltage decreases to nil ..........'
The sergeant had had enough and says to himself, 'One night in the cooler would be enough for him.'
And as Colin awaits the sereant's decision he is escorted to a cold and empty cell.
Colin was released the next morning but, in essence, he was subsequently tracked just in case ..........
